Sussex County Tax Administrator, Melissa Rockwell, will be on hand to go over property tax assessments. She will review topics such as the role of the Tax Board, how assessing works, the total assessed value, discrepancy in assessments, rates & ratios, Daniel’s Law and much more. Ombudsman is a procedure where a knowledgeable real estate licensee can assist other Realtors® and consumers in resolving complaints or misunderstandings. ($20 Registration Fee)

Real estate licensees who wish to assist in helping resolve arbitrable disputes will gain an understanding of the NAR model of mediation as well as perfecting their skill set in this area. ($25.00 Registration Fee)

Blood Drive

Community Blood Drive
The Sussex County Association of REALTORS® Community Outreach Committee Presents a community blood drive! The American Red Cross has declared it’s first ever blood crisis, forcing medical professionals to make hard choices about who can receive blood transfusions. SCAR is doing it’s part by hosting a blood drive, giving the gift of life to our local community. Please join us at the Sparta VFW on July 27th from 1-7 to donate.
